Packages are scanned at various points between pickup and delivery. The frequency of scans varies, and it’s not unusual for a shipment to go more than 24 hours without an update while it’s on its way to the final destination. This is especially true during periods of long travel. It can appear that your package isn’t moving, but it’s actually in transit to the next location where it will be scanned and/or delivered.
We’ll reattempt to deliver your package the following day. Generally, we make deliveries from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday–Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday for residential deliveries.
A delivery exception means your package is temporarily delayed while in transit due to unavoidable circumstances. The reason could be inclement weather, a natural disaster, a vehicle issue like a flat tire, or other conditions. We work hard to deliver every package as soon as possible, so a delivery exception doesn’t necessarily mean that your shipment will arrive late.
If your shipment’s delivery status is “now pending,” it means delivery commitments were changed based on some type of delay and our efforts to mitigate that delay. You can track your package to access the most up-to-date information regarding your package. You can rest assured we’re still working as hard as we can to deliver your package as soon as possible.
